Natalie Stopka's handmade books are bound with favor for unconventional structure, textiles, and engaging tactility. Melding book and textile arts, Natalie draws on diverse techniques to create unique and utilitarian goods.
All of the work is designed and created by Natalie at her little studio in the Shawangunk Mountains. It is made with uncommon fibers, hand dyed fabrics, and vintage techniques. The natural dyes used in creating these goods are responsibly foraged or sourced from ecologically conscientious vendors. A priority is placed on energy and water efficiency in dyeing, and no heavy metals are used. Because each dye is comprised of several different natural colorants, the resulting shades have a beautiful depth and resonance.
