After graduation from architecture school, Natacha Nay wanted to use her skills to design functional art; objects that carry elegance without fear of being touched.
She is drawn toward minimalist shapes and forms which can become in themselves statement pieces. By combining beautiful concepts with functionality her work assumes a unique character that can be discovered in each piece.
In the same way a home is built from the ground up, Natacha uses with the "hand-building" technique to construct her work. She believes in experimentation and cross-creation, where broadened context can flourish into novel creation.
Natacha Nay Ceramics is based in San Francisco's Castro district.
